About the Journal

About IJCI

An independent, peer-reviewed medical journal advancing clinically relevant research, innovation, and scientific collaboration across medicine and healthcare worldwide.

Mission

The International Journal of Clinical Innovation (IJCI) is an independent, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary medical journal. It exists to publish work that changes how clinicians think and practise — across clinical medicine, clinical research, surgical innovation, medical education, outcomes research, and healthcare innovation.

Advance clinically relevant research

Publish rigorous studies whose findings can inform diagnosis, treatment, healthcare delivery, and patient outcomes.

Support innovation across medicine and surgery

Provide a scholarly venue for novel techniques, devices, digital tools, and care models, described with sufficient detail for critical appraisal.

Promote multidisciplinary collaboration

Bring together clinicians, methodologists, educators, and health-systems researchers across specialties and settings.

Provide rigorous peer review

Match every submission with reviewers whose expertise fits the subject and methodology of the work, and return constructive, timely assessments.

Improve dissemination of clinically meaningful research

Publish continuously, without submission fees or article processing charges, so that findings reach readers without financial barriers to authors.

Maintain editorial independence

Base every decision on scientific merit alone, free from institutional, sponsor, or commercial influence.
